of the balancer chain tension adjustment spring.

Late Model KLR650 Piston Kit

Forged KLR650 piston is an improvement (84 grams lighter) over the
stock cast piston. STD & ..005" oversize available.
Note: Our piston and sleeve manufacture has determined that a '96 or
later cylinder can be safely bored .005" oversize if done properly by a
competent shop. However due to the thin liners in the earlier model
cylinders, boring is not recommended and these should be resleeved
or upgraded to the later model cylinder assembly.

NGK says their Iridium spark plugs require less voltage to spark, burn
fuel more efficiently and spark at leaner air/fuel mixtures. We find they
allow the KLR650 to pull slightly better at high RPM and recommended
