When I first started riding, I wanted to learn as much as I could about riding strategies,
riding techniques, and motorcycling in general. I soon found Whitehorse Press, which
seemed to stock every riding book I was looking for. In addition, they carried all sorts of
useful accessories and other products - including parts and accessories for the
KLR-650 (they carry model-specific parts ONLY for the KLR). I became a Whitehorse
customer almost from the beginning of my riding career. So it pleases me even more to
announce that the good folks at Whitehorse Gear now stock the Top Gun Chain Master!
Stop by and take a look at their site. This is the kind of down-to-earth company that lets
their own employees model for their catalog, and they test KLR parts by strapping them
onto the Boss' bike (you have to like a company where the boss rides a KLR!). They are
a great bunch of folks and it is an absolute pleasure doing business with them.
Multisurface Motorcycling Products
Rod Morris and Webmaster Mark have put together one heck of a site at
multisurfacemotorcycling.com. Besides the vast amount of honest and expert knowledge
that Webmaster Mark has compiled, MMP offers a selection of products that can't be
equalled for quality and utility. Rod is the most honest businessman you will ever meet
and I can tell you he would never sell a product he didn't believe in. He either uses or
has personally tested virtually everything he sells (and he's a darn fine rider - his bikes
get a workout). In this day and age of "get rich quick" it's nice to work with someone
who'd rather NOT sell a product if it wasn't going to work for a particular customer.
MMP products can now be found here!
San Diego's House of Motorcycles
General Manager Andre Le Compte has put together a great staff "House." From sales,
to parts, to service, we use House of Motorcycles for our personal motorcycling needs
as well as business. They always find time to help us out with a parts search, answer
questions about new models, or just shoot the breeze about what's new in the world of
motorcycling. As our custom bike set-up business continued to grow, we knew we
needed a convenient and competitive source of OEM parts. Parts Manager Steve
Harber and Wholesale Accounts Manager Brandon Van Order have given us
outstanding support, and we can't tell you how pleased we are to be able to do business
with our favorite local dealer.
Stop by their website, or drive down to their location at 4904 El Cajon Boulevard. We
think you'll enjoy doing business with them as much as we do.
